Village Life

Owned by the District Council of Loxton Waikerie, the Loxton Retirement Village operates as a resident-funded Licence to Occupy scheme and is regulated under South Australian retirement village legislation.

A dedicated Administration Officer supports day-to-day operations and assists new residents in their transition, while a Retirement Village Committee provides recommendations to Council on long-term financial management.

We invite you to explore the benefits of affordable, independent retirement living in one of regional South Australia’s most welcoming communities.

Beyond the Village, bridge clubs, book clubs, churches and other interest groups offer additional leisure options, while those looking to give back can become involved in the vibrant local community.
